Honoring a Legacy: The Olugbenga Ayodele Memorial Scholarship & Mentorship Event

On December 16, 2021, our alumni community came together to honor the life and legacy of our late Head Boy, Olugbenga Ayodele, through a powerful and transformative event that will be remembered for years to come.

The Olugbenga Ayodele Memorial Scholarship & Mentorship Event was more than just a tribute — it was a bold statement of purpose. Designed to inspire, educate, and protect the next generation, the event brought students face to face with mentors who spoke passionately about the importance of character, discipline, and wise choices.

Through candid and impactful sessions, students were educated on the dangers of drug abuse, cyber fraud, cultism, rape, and other destructive vices. The conversations were honest and heartfelt, creating a safe space for learning and reflection.

To reinforce these life-saving messages, signposts carrying bold, values-driven messages — fully sponsored by our members — were strategically erected across the school premises. These signs now serve as constant reminders to choose the right path and stay focused on excellence.

For many students, this event marked a turning point — a moment when they began to see their future differently, with renewed clarity and hope. In honoring Gbenga’s memory, we’ve also planted seeds of transformation that continue to grow within the school community.
